It's Deadlift Day!

Happy Friday!

Fridays are my absolute favorite day of the week—not because the weekend’s here, but because it’s Deadlift Day at my gym the Heavy Weights Barbell Club! 💪

There’s something truly empowering, satisfying and cathartic about pulling a heavy barbell off the floor.

Out of all the barbell lifts, deadlifts hold a special place in my heart (especially sumo deadlifts, which are my go-to!).

Right now, in my classes, we’re gearing up for our in-house powerlifting competition coming up in early December.

That means we’re starting to ramp up the weights as we peak over the next month.

We just finished a technical block in September, followed by a volume block in October, and now this block we transition into a peaking block for November.
